UNITWIN Chairs Program: Sustainability and Climate Change

UNITWIN Chairs Program: Sustainability and Climate Change

On February 29 at the University of Azuay, the UNESCO "UNITWIN" Chairs Program agreement was held, which addresses fundamental aspects of sustainability and climate change, in accordance with the statutes of this organization.

The program mobilizes the expertise of higher education and research institutions to address the interdependent challenges of today's increasingly complex world on issues fundamental to humanity.

UNITWIN is a unique intellectual and strategic resource of around 900 institutions from more than 120 countries, with the aim of strengthening connections between research and development policy and practice at national, regional and global levels. It has contributed to the strengthening of higher education systems and the promotion of collaborative research associations and networks.

Without a doubt, this program will provide important benefits for the entire academic community and outside institutions.
