Presentation of the virtual course "Expert in Tourism Marketing"

With the presence of Sumak Serrano, Project Director of the Municipal Tourism Foundation for Cuenca; Narcisa Ullauri, Director of the Department of Relations with Society; Miriam Briones, Director of the Continuing Education Department; Sebastián Calle, teacher of the course; Jorge Amaya, Coordinator of the program and professionals linked to the tourism sector, on August 4 the continuing training program "Expert in Tourism Marketing" was presented.

This course is designed to provide professionals in the sector with tools and techniques based on innovation, which require a deep knowledge of the markets and clients in the tourism industry.

Understand that tourism marketing is the systematic and coordinated execution of commercial policies by tourism organizations - from the public or private sector - that operate at the local, regional, national or international level to achieve the optimal satisfaction of the identified needs of groups of tourists.

To achieve this objective, it is essential to clearly differentiate the fields of action when talking about destinations, products and / or tourism companies; therein lies the key to success in the training of all professionals and a qualitative leap in modernizing management, sustainability and improving competitiveness.
