Presentation of the books: Financial Analysis, Operational Finance and Economics 1. An academic contribution for students and professionals in the business world
On November 30, the University of Azuay, together with its Faculty of Administration Sciences and its Publishing House, presented the books Financial Analysis by Bladimir Proaño, Operational Finance by Marco Antonio Piedra and Bladimir Proaño and Economía 1 by Bladimir Proaño and Luis Pinos; event that is framed within the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, specifically objective 4: Quality Education.
The book “Financial Analysis” addresses analysis techniques and tools that allow diagnosing the financial health of the company. Starting from the emptying of the financial statements, in an analysis template, and with an eminently predictive approach, the analyst evaluates liquidity, debt and profitability.
As for the Operational Finance book, it is a simple compilation of definitions, formulas and practical examples, as well as a tool for the study and understanding of the processes that a real-life company develops every day in the area of Planning and Administration. Financial.
Finally, the Economics 1 book examines the functioning of the economic system addressing, on the one hand, the economic agents, households and companies, which are studied within the microeconomic analysis; and on the other, the analysis of macroeconomics. Likewise, all these agents act in the goods/services markets, in the factor markets and in the financial markets.
At this meeting, the dean of the Faculty of Administration Sciences, Oswaldo Merchán, pointed out the importance of having these books, since they will be extremely useful for both students and professionals in the field of administration and economics.
