Position of teachers and staff before the co-governing bodies
On November 18, the University of Azuay held the swearing-in ceremony of the representatives of professors and workers to the co-governance bodies; an event in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers and administrative staff of our institution, as well as the general public.
The event began with remarks from Francisco Salgado, Rector of the University of Azuay, who invited attendees to reflect on the meaning of the word "council," understood as a space for seeking the best decisions and supporting the growth of our university community. He emphasized that the close relationship between faculty, staff, and students not only strengthens trust within the University but also fosters proposals with real impact on the city and the country, thus contributing to the development of more sustainable environments.
Subsequently, the new representatives of the teachers and workers were sworn in through the delivery of an agreement.
