Inauguration of the new representatives to the Co-governing Bodies

On June 10, the University of Azuay swore in the new student representatives to the Co-Governance Bodies for the 2025-2026 term; an event in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, faculty, administrative staff, and students from our university community, along with friends and family of the new representatives and the general public.
The event began with remarks by Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who emphasized the importance of this moment as an opportunity to highlight the fundamental role of the University in developing committed citizens. He also expressed his confidence that the young people elected will carry out their duties responsibly, safeguarding the interests of their colleagues and contributing to the well-being of the community.
Once his remarks were over, the new student representatives were sworn in to join the University Council by submitting an agreement.
