Possession of the new representatives of the Association of Employees and Workers
On June 19 at the University of Azuay the new authorities of the Association of Employees and Workers were sworn in; event in harmony with the principle of care that animates our university and the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically goal 16: Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions.
Authorities, teachers and administrative staff from our university community attended the event.
The welcoming words were given by Paola Merchán, president of the Association of Employees and Workers of the University of Azuay.
After the intervention, the new representatives of the Association of Employees and Workers took office.
Finally, Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, in his speech, mentioned that the University is a wonderful space to grow in community, highlighting the importance of creating spaces and rituals to make these acts visible.
