Professors from the University of Azuay Rafaella Ansaloni, Ana Elizabeth Ochoa and Danilo Minga participated in an international webinar on the impact of climate change on the agricultural sector.

The event was organized by the Peruvian university Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza on April 23 and was attended by about 30 keynote presentations by researchers from around the world.

The presentations that were presented were the following: "Impact of climate change on the agricultural systems of the central-southern Andean region of Ecuador", by Ansaloni and Minga.

Also "Detection and Attribution of the impacts of climate change in natural and human systems in the Andes, focus on agricultural systems", by Ochoa.

The meeting was held within the framework of the MACCARD project (Master in Climate Change, Agriculture and Sustainable Rural Development), of the European Union (EU), through the Erasmus plus project, of which the University of Azuay is a partner.
