National Development Plan of the Ministry of Education

On June 18, at the Hernán Malo Library of the University of Azuay, the Vice Minister of Education Cinthya Game presented the five axes that make up the roadmap of her ministry.

The five axes have the objective of returning children, adolescents and young people to face-to-face classes, and are focused on continuing to provide quality education, in which teachers, both in urban and rural areas, can be trained to provide better teaching. .

The axes are: Let's meet, to reactivate the schools; Everyone! All over Ecuador, all students; Free and flexible !, with higher quality, greater autonomy; Strong, comprehensive, digital and flexible, and educational excellence, to promote effectiveness, efficiency and transparency.

The Vice Minister requested the support of both the public and private sectors to meet again in schools, colleges and universities, always aligned in the actions that will be developed within the Ministry of Education.

For his part, the Rector of the University of Azuay, Francisco Salgado, affirmed his commitment to the Ministry of Education and expressed his intention of a soon return to the classroom, since he considers that education allows young people to overcome barriers and obtain great opportunities in the life.

At the end, a dialogue table for education was held, where various authorities were able to participate.
