New "dawn" for children of the Virgen de Bronce parish

Within the framework of the Project of connection with the community called "Amanecer", the July 8 was held an "Open Theater Class" in which the participating children showed their skills by performing acrobatics individually and collectively.

The event took place in the auditorium of the Virgen de Bronce parish, whose rector is Father Robin Calle, who - together with the Carmelite community - holds the Obra Social "Padre Hipólito", from which this group of children comes .

"Amanecer" seeks to promote the physical and mental well-being of these children in a space where they receive unconditional acceptance and permanent support.

With these activities, the little ones showed that success involves overcoming fears, mastering their minds, striving, and overcoming themselves.

The project is directed by Martha Cobos, PhD., Vice Chancellor of the Universidad del Azuay, and is coordinated by Mst. Carlos Loja and Mst. Alexandra Bueno, teachers of the UDA, together with the support of the students Pedro Villalta, Sofía Vintimilla, Juan Casinelli, Nancy Villa, Grace Castro and María Villacís, from the Schools of Clinical Psychology and Theater Art.
