New version of the master's degree in Industrial Production and Operations
The University of Azuay offers eight master's degrees since March 2021, some in an unprecedented way, others that have already been offered before, such as Industrial Production and Operations with a mention in Logistics and Supply Chain.
Ana Vásquez, Coordinator of this study program, comments that the second version of the master's program focuses on creating knowledge in the supply chain, supply logistics, internal and external logistics in factories or companies, as well as international logistics, management of inventories, transportation management, and finally the distribution process.
The professional profile for the teacher is aimed at a public of professionals belonging to different areas of engineering: production and operations, industrial, business, commercial, in Processes, in Food, mechanics and automotive, electronics, in telecommunications, in systems, and chemistry.
The 16 modules will be taught by both national and international professors and the selection process consists of an interview and a review of the professional profile where the applicant's experience in the workplace is given greater relevance.
The cost of the master's is $ 500 for tuition and $ 6.500 for tuition. It has a duration of 18 months including the degree work; there are a total of 35 places available.
