Mass for the Day of the Dead. Love and gratitude for loved ones
On October 31 in the Clara and Francisco de Asís Chapel of the University of Azuay, the Eucharistic Celebration of the Dead was held to commemorate our loved ones.
The emotional celebration was attended by authorities, teachers and administrative staff of our university community, who in turn participated in the prayers and offerings.
The welcoming words were given by our academic vice-rector, Genoveva Malo, who pointed out that this space calls us to love, gratitude and hope. To remember is to bring to the heart and today we put in our hearts, with love, the lives of those who gave life.
At the end of the ceremony, the Teachers Association invited us to share a pleasant moment with a delicious and traditional colada morada and guagua de pan in commemoration of our faithful deceased.
