Luna and the academy. Third day of the Symposium "Thought, life and work"

On December 15 at the University of Azuay, the third day of the “Thought, life and work” Symposium was held, an event that is framed in the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, mainly objective 4: Quality Education.

The event was attended by academic, civil and ecclesiastical authorities, deans, professors, students and administrative staff of our university community.

The focus of the third day of the symposium was on the theme "Luna and Academia." The opening presentation was given by our rector, Francisco Salgado, who pointed out the importance of remembering the roots of the words. The academy, as mentioned, is the community in the garden, highlighting its central position and the important task of tenderly caring for life.

In this context, the conviction was reiterated that the university is the common space destined for the realization of good. It is the seat of love and heart, a community that enthusiastically embraces challenges, possessing an exceptional vision of the future and an outstanding capacity to do good.

The event also included the enriching reflections of Enrique Ayala, founding rector of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar and Carmen Pineda, who delved into the central axis of the symposium, contributing valuable and enriching perspectives to the day.
