Lumion, visualization is the future

As part of the DI + program organized by the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art, on June 29 the talk “Lumion. We will talk about interior design ”, which aimed to learn more about the experience of a professional who handles Lumion software.

The objective of the talk was to bring Interior Design and Architecture students closer to new technological trends, this software being a new tool that broadens the horizon of their skills.

What is Lumion? It is a 3D visualization and representation software, this program, together with other modeling software, is in charge of giving life to the designs with realistic details of the finish of the project.

The architect Leonardo Ramos, exhibitor, provides consulting and software training to independent professionals and architecture, construction and interior design offices; He has collaborated with real estate agencies and architecture offices nationwide and worked with teams of international architects.

He defines himself as an independent architectural visualizer, working since 2019 supporting visualization and animation work for students and professionals from various countries.

"This software has given me the opportunity to make a living from this, regularly architects and designers study for years to make plans that normally people who do not know about the subject do not understand well, on the other hand, thanks to this software a result can be obtained final digital 3D in which the interested party can see the final result of the proposed work ”.

In addition, Ramos assured that this software gives those who master the program the quality of increasing project sales, since with this anticipated visualization of the project it is easier for the client to lean towards the 3D proposal rather than the classic architectural plan.

That said, the talk ended by emphasizing that the architect or designer who handles the software would have an added value for their work, since it represents a new form of representation that gives greater understanding to the client and professionalism to the work presented.
