The book "From woman to woman", a valuable contribution to the field of health

On March 06, the University of Azuay and its Publishing House presented the book “From woman to woman: Basic guide for childbirth and pregnancy” by the authors Andrea Espinoza, Rocío Samper, Viviana Barros and Marcela Ochoa; an event in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers and students from our university community, family and friends of the authors and the general public.
The book "From Woman to Woman: A Basic Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth" is an essential tool designed to accompany women on one of the most significant journeys in life: motherhood.
The event began with the words of Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who highlighted the firm commitment of our institution to the preservation of life, pointing out that this work is a reflection of that mission. In addition, he stressed that the book has the potential to be transmitted from generation to generation, reaching numerous homes. To conclude, he congratulated the authors and emphasized that this work symbolizes the valuable contribution of science to life.
Juanita Berzosa, a commentator on the book, highlighted the warmth of the book and its value as a resource for motherhood. She stressed that it addresses the challenges of pregnancy and the need for a guide, something that was previously lacking. She thanked the authors for their contribution, pointing out that the book is useful not only for mothers, but for the entire family.
Finally, Andrea Espinoza and Rocío Samper, representing the authors, shared that as women it is an honour to present this guide. They recalled that, since ancient times, women have supported each other during childbirth, and highlighted that this book follows that tradition, created by women for women, in order to accompany them on the journey of motherhood. They expressed their wish that the work helps mothers at every stage.
