Launch of the book "Sustainability Report 2023"
On January 09, the University of Azuay, together with its Publishing House and IReNe, presented the book “2023 Sustainability Report”, by the authors Carla Salgado, Lorena Orellana, Viviana Guamán and Tatiana Pupiales; an event in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers and administrative staff from our university community, family and friends of the authors and the general public.
The University of Azuay, committed to human and social development, embraces the SDGs, shaping its environment and management with them. In this way, the university community becomes a protagonist in the development of humanity, promoting the construction of an environment where all people generate growth. The SDGs motivate the University of Azuay to be co-responsible in contributing to a sustainable society.
At this meeting, Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, addressed those present, mentioning the importance of having a direction for our actions, where the university community is involved and continues to actively participate for the benefit of the future and of young people.
Following his speech, the work was launched.
