Launch of the book "Database Design"

The December 7 took place in the Postgraduate Auditorium the launch of the book "Database Design" by Oswaldo Merchán Manzano, Dean of the Faculty of Administration Sciences of the University of Azuay.

"Database Design" is a book aimed at university students who are studying careers related to information technologies and professionals who work as systems analysts and programmers.

At the launch, the Rector of the University, Francisco Salgado, stressed the pride that this book implies for the University.   

Later Lisandro Solano, Subdecand of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cuenca, said: "The book is the result of several years of experience of Oswaldo Mechán, I also want to congratulate you for having the conviction to finish the work "

To conclude, Oswaldo Merchán explained how he came to write this book:

"During my postgraduate studies, the organized notes of the subjects of the teachers served as a guide for learning and were built on a raw material for an academic work".

The Dean also thanked those who contributed their knowledge to carry out the work.
