The UDA held its first Business Fair
On January 10 Wednesday, the University of Azuay, together with the Bank of Guayaquil, developed the first Business Fair, with the aim of promoting employment among its students and graduates.
Another objective of the event was to allow participating companies to search or recruit qualified profiles, which can be adapted to positions currently available or in the future.
"For the University of Azuay it is key that the young people who form with us have opportunities in life and many of those opportunities are found in companies, in the private sector and in the productive sector", Francisco Salgado, Rector of the Universidad del Azuay Azuay
The companies attending were: Fibro Acero SA, Continental Tire Andina, Cartopel SAI, Indurama, Mirasol SA, Gerardo Ortiz Corp., La Italiana, the Ceramic Center formed by Kerámicos, Rioalto, Ecuacerámica, Hypoo, Pasarela and Pella; Marcimex, Pasamanería SA, Banco del Austro and Agrota.
These are some of the companies that work with MiUDA, the Student Department of the UDA, in the "Bolsa de Trabajo" platform.
The platform seeks to help students and graduates to get jobs in companies that have links with the University at the local, national and international levels.
