The Minister of Education receives projects from the UDA
On the morning of June 17, at the Service House of the University of Azuay, two projects were presented to the Minister of Education María Brown Pérez.
The first project was presented by Diego Proaño, Director of the Architecture and Urban Planning Consultancy, who has worked hand in hand with teachers, students and alumni of the Architecture career of the UDA.
This project aims to manufacture schools in which the spaces are modern and innovative, but -above all- can receive and adapt to children with special needs.
Proaño mentioned that: "This Consultant is presented as a space where we can articulate both the needs and the inclusion of these projects that are born in the different sectors of society according to a principle of co-stability."
The second project was presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Andrés López, who explained the initiative of linking to society in which teachers, students and the University's Department of Languages have participated to train 31 teachers from various parishes of the province, both in the area of mathematics and in English.
López assured that there is a great deficit on the part of these teachers when teaching their students, which is why this project seeks to improve teaching methods through a more playful and creative way.
The Minister supported these projects, which are of vital importance to eradicate many shortcomings that exist in rural and urban sectors.
