The exhibition of the works of Traditional Typography caught the attention of the Faculty of Design

The School of Graphic Design was in charge of continuing with the "Cultural Thursdays" that the Faculty of Design carries out and this first of June the students of the fourth cycle of the race presented their works of Traditional Typography.

The coordinator of the sample was Roberto Landívar, professor of the 2 Typography subject.

Typography is a way of defining the communicative, expressive and aesthetic potential of the letter, said Landívar.

“It does not merely have a design sense, but rather it is empirically crafted and tries to capture consumer expectations from the person who proposes the typography that is found everywhere, on walls, on mechanics, on the patios ”, added the professor.

For those who wish to visit the exhibition, they can do so until Wednesday June 14 at the gallery "Creative Dimension / disconnection space".

Landívar concluded that the objective of the exhibition is "for the rest of the careers to soak up the other services that a graphic designer can offer and the compositional richness of the exhibition, the color scheme, and all the senses that this exhibition awakens".
