The School of Design presented "the shape of objects"

On Thursday 26 in October the exhibition "The shape of objects" organized by the School of Design of Objects of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art was held.

Francisco Salgado, Rector of the University of Azuay; Genoveva Malo, Dean of the Faculty; Danilo Sarabia, Coordinator of the School of Design of Objects, led the opening ceremony that featured teachers, alumni and students.

The projects that were exposed were elaborated by professionals graduated in the School of Design of Objects of the University of Azuay and by current students of the race.

The works are inscribed in each of the areas of the design of objects such as jewelry, ceramics, wood, lighting, vitrofusión, shoe store and leather.

For Danilo Sarabia this exhibition sought people to know about what is done in the race: "This is a sample of all the work that is done in Design of Objects, of each of the stages that objects carry in order to become way as such. "

Also on display was the first 3D printer of the Faculty that allows to generate prostheses, molds, matrices, shapes in 3d from plastic, among others.
