On November 6, the Lecture Series “Anthropology of Today and Tomorrow” was inaugurated by speaker Alejandro Vázquez Estrada, an event that is framed within the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives. 

Dr. Alejandro Vázquez Estrada, with an impressive twenty-year career in research, teaching and networking in the field of anthropology, is a reference in the discipline. His undergraduate studies focus on anthropology, with specializations in community development and research ethics. His experience and knowledge bring exceptional value to this series of conferences.

The event opened with the conference titled "Heritage and Tourism: A Delicate Relationship", a topic of great relevance in contemporary anthropology that explores the interaction between the preservation of cultural heritage and the tourism industry. Throughout the week, various talks and debates will be held that will address topics related to the world of anthropology.

At the opening, the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Human Sciences addressed a few words to the audience, expressing his gratitude for the organization of this important meeting.
