Tax information for women from the Avanzar Foundation

On December 18, a talk was held on how to access the services of the NAF (Nucleo de Apoyo Contable y Fiscal de la Universidad del Azuay) for the participants of the training program and technical assistance to strengthen capacities for micro-enterprises and identified sectors. with capacity needs in different areas of Ecuador.

This linking project is carried out jointly between the University of Azuay and the Avanzar Foundation.

“I don't know anything about that and the young people offer to instruct me; I'm very grateful because I had that void, ”said Carmen Cedillo, one of the program participants.

“It is a great help for those of us who are starting small businesses,” added Camila Gómez, another of the students.

Ruth Calle, a professor at the School of Textile and Fashion Design, said that this type of talk prepares women "to keep their tax obligations in order and up to date."

In charge of the talk was Virginia Abad, an Accounting and Auditing Engineer, who highlighted that the project to link with the Avanzar Foundation has been an opportunity to support the community in the development of small businesses.

“This help is the most important thing we can do for society, because the participants include the economic support of their families and this knowledge -the direction of their projects, how to develop marketable products, in which area to undertake- helps them to get ahead. ”.

Abad said he hopes to continue building more ties with these vulnerable sectors of society.
