Signing of inter-institutional agreements
On March 18, the University of Azuay signed inter-institutional agreements with the Rosa de Jesús Cordero Private Educational Unit, the Hermano Miguel de la Salle Private Educational Unit, the Santana Educational Unit and the Stiehle German School of Cuenca.
The agreements that were signed between the University of Azuay and the aforementioned educational institutions are intended to recognize the studies of Language and Literature, specifically the subject of Literature or its equivalents of the International Baccalaureate for the subject of Academic Reading and Writing I, to which students who obtained the Diploma in International Baccalaureate according to the requirements of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
The welcome speech was given by our rector Francisco Salgado, who mentioned that the signed agreements will be of great contribution to the young people who have recently graduated from high school, where they will receive training and experience that is on par with the world.
In turn, each of the rectors of the aforementioned educational institutions intervened, mentioning the importance of the signed agreements and their satisfaction with the recognition given to their IB students.
