Signing of an Interinstitutional Agreement between the University of Azuay and the Catholic University of Temuco

On June 17, the University of Azuay signed the Framework Agreement for Collaboration between the University of Azuay and the Catholic University of Temuco, Chile; an event in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities and members of our university community, members of the Catholic University of Temuco, and the general public.
The event began with remarks from Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who noted that this signing represents a commitment to work together in the area of territorial planning. He emphasized the gratification of finalizing this agreement and collaborating together for the benefit of society.
For his part, Daniel Rozas, Director of International Relations at the Catholic University of Temuco, addressed those present, noting that this agreement strengthens the work already begun. He expressed his gratitude for the opening of these meeting spaces and for the opportunity to contribute to the solution of current problems.
Once the presentations were completed, the agreement between the aforementioned institutions was signed, with the aim of jointly planning, implementing, and evaluating activities in the areas of teaching, research, outreach, and networking.
