Fair promotes studies abroad

Fair promotes studies abroad

Between Thursday 11 and Friday 12 November, the second University Internationalization Fair was held, organized by the University of Azuay and the other universities of the city to achieve various strategic agreements so that their students can apply to master's programs or take certain cycles within their academic plan abroad.

In addition to creating spaces for the socialization of international programs for the university community, the regulations and requirements to be able to study outside the country were also announced.

Marcelo Calle, Director of the Department of International Relations at the University of Azuay, tells us more about it:

“We have various calls where students have to meet parameters within a rubric for acceptance. Academic performance, extracurricular courses, affiliations with non-profit organizations and speaking another language are considered ”.

One of the main attractions that makes the University of Azuay a great manager in the international arena are its financing options, because its students, regardless of which foreign university they are studying at, maintain the values of their pensions at the local level. .

In addition, the diversity of scholarships becomes another condition for many students deciding to apply to the calls.

On the other hand, within this same theme, representatives of the Southern Utha University promoted the study opportunities in their educational institution at the UDA, which has unique benefits for our students, such as the reduction in the cost of the semester, which fell from $ 18.000 to $ 4.000.

“These advantages are very important since we want to provide the most favorable conditions for our students, which is why we do not limit ourselves to agreements with local universities. We want the UDA to open up to the world ”, concluded Calle.
