Project Factory: an exhibition by students of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art
On September 25, the University of Azuay, together with its Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art, inaugurated the exhibition “Project Factory”, an event in harmony with the principle of care that inspires our University, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers, administrative staff and students from our university community.
The welcoming remarks were made by Genoveva Malo, academic vice-rector of the University of Azuay, who mentioned that this exhibition reflects the commitment to the University; she also pointed out that these spaces are created so that people can appreciate their work and understand the role of design and architecture in society, to transform the world.
In turn, DAYA's Research Coordinator inaugurated the event and addressed the public, pointing out that this exhibition is part of the celebration of the 40 years of the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art, who have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to their academic training. She also highlighted the importance of connecting academic training with the work environment and this exhibition is an example of that.
Once the interventions were finished, an artistic intervention was carried out by our Folk Dance group; later, the attendees were invited to visit the exhibition located in the Patio de Diseño on our central campus.
