"Project Factory" a space to celebrate creativity, research and production in works by Design and Architecture graduates

On October 4, the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art of the University of Azuay inaugurated the school year and the “Project Factory” exhibition, an event that is framed within the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives. The program was attended by authorities, coordinators of the different careers, professors and students from our university community.

The “Project Factory” was born as an academic festival that pursues the objective of sharing with the community the fruit of the efforts of the students, teachers and administrative staff of the Faculty through the exhibition of each year's degree works. Each edition of this event serves as an internal and external evaluation exercise that, based on its own conclusions and the constructive criticism of those who visit the exhibition, guarantees the development of quality education from and for society.

At the inauguration, Rafael Estrella, dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Art, addressed a few words to the public, mentioning that many of the exercises exhibited in the exhibition reflect the reflection, research and learning shared with his colleagues and professors throughout of the career and that they are exhibited to make visible the processes, methodologies, diversity of thoughts, approaches and theoretical approaches that nourish the now professionals of the 6 careers of said faculty.

To conclude the event, the University's band “Blue Beats” was present, who had prepared a small show for the attendees. Once the presentation was over, the public was invited to visit the exhibition located in the Design Courtyard and through the Lecture Hall until reaching the University's Teartino.

Without a doubt, this space serves as learning and inspiration for future generations related to these careers and also as an opportunity to exhibit and promote the work of our students.
