Movement Screening from 0 to 3 Years: Book Presentation

On May 08, the University of Azuay and its publishing house presented the book "Movement Examination from 0 to 3 Years: A Neuroscience Application," an event in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers, administrative staff and students from our university community, family and friends of the authors and the general public.
The book is a fundamental tool for professionals working in the fields of education, stimulation, and/or intervention. Its objective is to conduct an assessment through observation of neurofunctional psychomotor behavior, identifying both psychomotor typology and possible disorders.
The welcoming remarks were delivered by Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who highlighted the efforts of the research team presenting this book, highlighting the importance of international collaboration and the care and protection of life.
Martha Cobos, dean of the Faculty of Psychology, also presented the book. In her speech, she mentioned the importance of conducting research on this fundamental stage of children's development, thus providing them with an extremely useful tool designed for professionals in the field of education.
Finally, Elena Simonetta and Karina Huiracocha officially launched the work on behalf of the authors, expressing their gratitude for the support and explaining this important study and the impact it will have on children's lives.
