"Literary essays for the 21st century" stories by Carlos Pérez Agustí

On April 4, the University of Azuay and its Publishing House presented the book “Literary Essays for the 4st Century (second volume)” by the author Carlos Pérez Agustí, an event that is framed within the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, mainly the objective XNUMX: Quality Education.

The event was attended by authorities, teachers and students from our university community, friends and family of the author.

The book presented immerses us in a fascinating journey through the intersection between literature, cinema and contemporary culture; It brings together in-depth analyzes and insightful comments on literary and cinematographic works, divided into five sections that cover various genres and themes.

The welcoming words were given by our rector, Francisco Salgado, who expressed his happiness with the book presented. Without a doubt, the articles found in this volume are the reflection of a continuous attempt to take the public out of everyday life for a moment and put them in a wonderful setting of stories and creativity.

The presentation of the work was carried out by Enrique Dávila Cobos, a renowned artist from the city.

The official launch of the book was made by the author, Carlos Pérez Agustí, founding professor of the University of Azuay and president of the Casa Tomada Collective.
