Meeting "Promoting Sustainable Communities"
On October 26, the University of Azuay held the meeting “Promoting Sustainable Communities”, an event in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities and graduates of the different technologies of our institution and the general public.
This meeting began with the words of Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, who mentioned the importance of having sustainable communities, where people share their ideals and collectively obtain the desired results; education must be viewed in a comprehensive manner, he said.
In turn, Juanita Bersosa, Director of Outreach to Society, addressed the audience, pointing out the importance of training people capable of transforming realities in different territories. She also informed those present about the free services that the University has at their disposal for the correct management and use of their different projects that they have developed during their studies.
The meeting ended with a question and answer session where attendees could learn about the different services that the University can provide to support their professional development.
