As a community we build and project our UDA brand: Delivery of certificates to participants in institutional communication courses

On January 26 at the University of Azuay, the delivery of certificates for the courses “Management of communication and institutional dissemination - Basic level” and “Illustrator and Photoshop” took place, an event that is framed within the fulfillment of sustainable development objectives. , mainly objective 16: Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions.

The “Institutional communication and dissemination management - Basic level” course was offered with the purpose of training on communication resources applied to the institutional brand, teaching the basic use of virtual community management of our University, understanding the audience to communicate effectively, evaluate the content that will be exposed to the public and propose materials aligned with institutional communication.

On the other hand, the basic course of “Adobe Illustrator CC and Photoshop CC – Basic Level” was given with the purpose of teaching administrative staff, in a practical way, about the use of the main digital tools and techniques to carry out, step step by step, any digital layout project within their work areas, in accordance with the visual identity of the University. 

The welcome speech was given by our rector, Francisco Salgado, who mentioned the importance of jointly building a concept, product or brand, emphasizing that the courses taught are a clear example of that. Now several members of the university community will be able to make the “UDA” brand visible in society and the world. 

Also, Genoveva Malo, academic vice-rector, addressed those present, pointing out that the identity of the University is in its educational model and this does not only reside in its academic programs, but also in the values ​​that define it and guide every action we undertake, that is so our symbols and brand give the sense of community. 

Once the certificates were delivered to each of the participants, Oswaldo Arpi, a member of the university community and course participant, addressed the public on behalf of his classmates.
