In search of the light through dance
On June 30, the presentation of the play “Tras la luz” was held, organized by the Culture Unit and the Dance Company of the University of Azuay
The Dance Company is one of the permanent artistic programs managed by the Culture Unit and is an important link with the community that fosters, through artistic expression, the growth of the institution, the university community and society.
The group has participated in countless spaces and is currently made up of guest dancers, students and graduates of the UDA.
The work presented sought to represent how society and the university community faced the arrival of the pandemic. So that, during this, it was observed how everyday life was transformed and adapted to a virtual space.
In the montage, the work carried out in the virtual classes, the experience of the interface/screen of the computer and the cell phone, and the life behind the light of those devices that generated great challenges and, in turn, creative solutions, were presented.
