Appointment of the new Director of the Continuing Education Department
On April 30, the University of Azuay held a recognition ceremony for the outgoing Director of the Department of Continuing Education and for the inauguration of the new Director; an event in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event was attended by authorities, teachers and administrative staff from our university community and the general public.
Francisco Salgado, rector of the University of Azuay, delivered the welcoming remarks. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of assuming this new role with responsibility and dedication to the university community. He also expressed his gratitude to those who previously held these positions, acknowledging their valuable efforts and commitment.
At the end of her speech, Miriam Briones was presented with an award for her outstanding work and invaluable dedication over these years of service.
At the same time, Matías Abad was appointed, through the delivery of an agreement, as the new director of the Continuing Education Department.
