Discussion on youth, state and society

The June 3 in the General Auditorium of the University of Azuay gave rise to the conversation "The State in Time of Changes", which was presented by the Coordinator of the School of Organizational Psychology, Monica Rodas, as a space for reflection to promote student welfare

The event was organized by the university pastoral, with the aim of creating reflection spaces in which the value of the person, the family and the young person is discussed.

Javier Muñoz, professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, said that these spaces serve so that young people can meet and talk freely about the problems and concerns they have, in order to find a solution together from a spiritual point of view.

Later the Director of pastoral, Father Romel Soto, invited everyone to participate in the day and gave way to three Psychology students to exhibit. Jean Carlo Puyol was the first and presented a talk about young people and their current reality, called "How do I look at society and the State?". Puyol spoke from the point of view of the teenagers who are close to the university entrance process and how they feel about it.

Next, the student Emilia Rodas, spoke about the decision making by young people and how they can affect the society in which we live. The exhibition was accompanied by a video that dealt with social responsibility.

The last student to speak was Juan Marcelo Vintimilla who spoke about the person and their spirituality in society. He accompanied his presentation with a video and made it clear that spirituality was not the same as religiosity.

To finish, the law professor Esteban Segarra made a dynamic with the public inviting him to take the stage and with an interactive talk concluded the event.

The pastoral invites everyone to participate in their events and will be organizing future conversations
