Framework agreement
On the morning of September 8, representatives of the Universidad del Azuay, the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) and the ZEDE (Special Economic Development Zone) of the Litoral signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement.
The objective of the agreement is to reinforce social and business ties to promote innovation and technology transfer, as well as to carry out academic and research activities and joint projects.

The special economic development zones are a strategy established by law to stimulate innovation in the production of goods, services or processes destined mainly for exportation and import substitution, through the installation of new technology-based companies.
