Agreement with Asfaltar EP company

On March 31, the University of Azuay and the Azuay Aggregate and Asphalt Public Company “Asfaltar EP” signed an agreement to carry out pre-professional internships.

In the words of Paolo Carpio, General Manager of the Asfaltar EP company, “wisdom is created when knowledge is combined with practice”.

Therefore, Carpio stressed that the objective of the agreement is to strengthen students' knowledge based on reality and development.

With the agreement, the institutions agreed to contribute to the professional training of the students.

To conclude, Carpio added that, "for the company it is of great importance to strengthen these spaces of connection with the academy since it contributes, from different angles, to development".
