Conference: Customs logistics and the impact of the Chancay Megaport

On May 27, the University of Azuay, together with its Faculty of Law and the School of International Studies, held the conference "Customs Logistics and the Impact of the Chancay Megaport," an event in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The event was attended by authorities, faculty and students from our university community, national and international exhibitors, and the general public.

The welcoming remarks were delivered by José Chalco Quezada, Dean of the Faculty of Law, who emphasized the importance of efficient logistics for the success of the congress. He also stressed the need to keep young people up-to-date in this field, noting that events like this represent a valuable learning opportunity. He also emphasized that international trade acts as a bridge that unites nations and contributes to their shared development.

After their presentations, the speakers gave way, addressing various topics related to regional and foreign trade in the South, as well as logistics opportunities for the private sector and other commercial-related issues.
