Conference at the School of Law analyzes copyright

On April 17, the Law School held the conference "Copyright in the new Ingenios Code" within the framework of the cycle "Dialogue from reflection".

The Dean of the Faculty of Legal Sciences, José Chalco Quezada, welcomed students, professors and guests to this space of educational activities, remembering in a very pleasant way that the School of Law is ready to fulfill 30 years.

The exhibitors present at the conference were Diego Fernando Chico, student of the eighth cycle of the Law School; Susana Vázquez Zambrano, Regional Deputy Director of the Institute of Intellectual Property (IEPI) and Juan Carlos Barsallo, professor at the University of Azuay.

The topics discussed during the exhibitions were the author's rights and the usefulness and use of the Ingenios Code in the different fields of application such as scientific, literary, artistic, musical, pictorial works, among others.

The exhibitors analyzed how this regulation applies both to companies and to those people who make use of it, also discussing the benefits and disadvantages that the Ingenios Code presents today, taking into account that the reform of the regulation has not yet been published.

"It is a pleasure for me to have a massive attendance of the students since these academic events are created so that their professional formation grows every day more", concluded the Dean of the Faculty.
