The photos that were taken were obtained when the students traveled abroad to learn about the architecture of other cultures. Each cycle visited a different country: fourth cycle, Peru; sixth cycle, Colombia and eighth cycle, Brazil.

Five categories were taken into account: Public Space, City and Culture, Interior Space, Constructive Detail and Architectural Project. Andrea Parga, Researcher of the Forma group of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, was in charge of judging the works by category and destination.

The winners of each destination competed with each other in each category for a trophy. In the end it was recognized: Ana Paulina Monsalve, Interior Space Award; David Castillo, Public Space Award; Irene Cárdenas, Culture Award; Anthony Crespo, Constructive Detail Award and; Silvia Zalamea, Sketch Award.

"Learning the successes and also the mistakes (of each city) allows us to find shortcuts for the design of our cities. Refreshes the interest and passion for: the city, art, culture and, of course, architecture ", said Santiago Vanegas, Coordinator of the School of Architecture.

Finally, books were distributed where, in the manner of postcards, the best photos of the contest were collected. It is desired that in 2019, students travel to other cities such as: Buenos Aires, Montevideo, New York or Chicago.
