The speakers were Angélica Porras, research professor at the SEK University of Quito; Andrés Martínez, researcher at the University of Cuenca; and Sebastián López from the UDA.

Some of the topics covered in the workshop were the particularities of the scientific journals, how the drafting of the structure of a paper and how to enter the scientific networks and their different databases.

The types of scientific publications and journals that exist worldwide were also discussed; the criteria that CEASES has for the validation of publications and topics of bibliography and citation styles.

It was a completely practical exercise and the methodology consisted of each teacher having an article duly written and sent to an international journal once the workshop was over.

"We are starting to train teachers so that they are the ones who replicate this knowledge to students, it is important that we acquire these skills in order to contribute to world knowledge," said Matías Abad, Communication Coordinator of the Faculty of Sciences Legal.
