Science and Technology celebrates day on renewable energies

The 14 Friday of December was a day dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency within the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Azuay.

Throughout the morning, a series of lectures was held on the subject of renewable energies in the auditorium of the Faculty that lasted from eight in the morning until one-thirty in the afternoon.

The presentations were given by teachers from the University of Azuay, and from other universities in the country.

For Francesco Bresciani, a student who attended the event, "it is very important to raise the issue of renewable energies afloat because the future must be directed in that direction".

The day was also marked by the signing of a collaboration agreement between the University of Azuay and the Ecuadorian Association of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (AEEREE).

This association seeks to generate a platform to help spread knowledge about this energy and wants to protect the environment through the promotion of renewable energy sources, as well as the improvement and rationalization of its use in the country.
