On June 26, the conference "Urban green systems as a model for the regeneration and rehabilitation of cities", held by the Colombian architect Sebastián Mejía, took place.

This is one of the conferences that are being organized by the Chairs of Project Management and Landscape Architecture III, of the School of Architecture.

On May 29 it was the turn of two architects from the Sommet studio, Sebastián Fernández de Córdova and Erika Peinado, located in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, who spoke about project management and architecture studios.

On July 10, the Argentine architect Lucas Períes will talk about "The relationship between the environment and the urban landscape."

“The idea of the talks arises for the following reasons: the theory that is part of the content in class must be validated by good professional practices; indicates Pablo Ochoa, professor at the School, and adds:

"It is important to know design methods that have been applied by architectural firms with extensive experience and have been validated at different stages."

For Ochoa, it is essential to generate critical knowledge among students to assess projects carried out outside the city of Cuenca and Ecuador.
