Talk about new technologies and companies

On December 10 at 9:30 am, the conference on disruptive technologies and contemporary administration was held in the auditorium of the Universidad del Azuay and through the digital platform Zoom, by Kurt Freund, Rector of the Universidad del Pacífico in the city of Guayaquil.

The event was held within the framework of the celebration for the 50 years of the Faculty of Administration Sciences and was attended by the authorities of the University of Azuay and the Faculty.

Freund referred to the use of technologies for a good management and development of companies and highlighted the importance of a technological prospective vision to face the challenges of the future.  

"The prospective vision that technology has is the science that studies the future scenario to identify the strategic areas of research and emerging technology," he explained.

Among the challenges he identified how to develop knowledge and manage innovation to achieve a successful result.

The speaker then addressed the issue of global data growth that we call Big Data, indicating that it is the most valuable resource for thousands and thousands of companies on the planet, because it provides answers that companies may not have imagined.

Finally, Kurt Freund closed the meeting by talking about nanotechnology and then opened a round of questions with the public.
