Celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine

Within the framework of the twentieth anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Azuay, various activities were carried out during the week. The event culminated with the traditional Cuencan night, where attendees enjoyed the burning of the castle with live music.

The week began on Wednesday, October 25, with the opening of the anatomical pieces competition, organized by the Morphology Unit of the Basic Sciences of the University. On the same day, Dr. Juan Manuel Muñoz offered a keynote lecture on "Diabetes Mellitus, new perspectives," followed by a concert by the university's La Tuna, which filled the auditorium with energy in honor of the Faculty's twentieth anniversary.
