UDASOLIDARIA Savings Bank

The March 19 saw the relaunch of the Savings Bank of the Universidad del Azuay, an entity that provides financial services since the 2002 year to the professors of the University, under the name of UDASOLIDARIA.

In the event it was announced that the services are extended to the entire university community.

At the inauguration, the Rector of the University of Azuay, Francisco Salgado, expressed his support and satisfaction at the materialization of the renewed UDASOLIDARIA Savings Bank.

Followed, he addressed the present Luis Mario Cabrera, General Administrative Financial Dean and President of the Savings Bank, who made a historical tour of the Savings Bank, and a recognition to those who have been part of his administration.

In addition, Cabrera introduced the new board members and added that the fundamental principle of the box is to "act based on cooperation, transparency and solidarity among the partners".

Finally, Sofía Cabrera explained the functioning of the UDASOLIDARIA box and the interaction with its users, through the University's web portal.

"To access the system, your username and provisional password is your ID number, once inside you will be asked to update the password, fill in your personal, labor and value data to contribute to the Savings Bank."

As from the year, members can request different types of credits.
