After the performances, each candidate for Queen of Cuenca paraded on the catwalk wearing typical costumes designed by the students. Each piece was inspired by the city's culture and heritage, incorporating material and symbolic elements related to the event's theme, "Centenary Women," in commemoration of the beauty pageant's 100th anniversary.

María del Carmen Trelles, professor at the University, highlighted that these designs seek to pay tribute to the beautiful city of Cuenca, its people, customs and identity, while showing the creativity, talent and dedication of the young designers.

This event was of great importance to the university community, as students played a fundamental role in its success. They contributed with love, dedication and effort so that the candidates wore unique outfits. The University is proud of this achievement and hopes that students will continue to achieve success in their careers. In addition, the commitment and dedication of the teachers behind this beautiful project is recognized.
