Art at the University. The UdaClub of paint fills the library with color

On November 29, the University of Azuay, together with its Department of Culture, held the Exhibition of works of the UdaClub de Pintura, an event that is framed within the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, mainly 4: Quality Education.

The UdaClub is a space provided by the Department of Culture to our university community where different extracurricular artistic activities are carried out.

The exhibition that was presented was led by José Sanmartín, professor at the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Art, who directed the painting club that concluded with several pictorial works made by students and administrative staff of the University; They highlight certain brush techniques that mostly capture landscape environments.

At the event, our rector, Francisco Salgado, highlighted the importance of providing this space for our community and how painting is extremely rewarding, even more so when painted out of passion and love for art.
