Analyzing sports journalism in Communication

The ASO School of Communication career organized on Wednesday May 20 a video conference on sports journalism with the presence of professionals from this branch Carolina Tamariz, Andrés Muñoz and Pedro Reinoso.

Tamariz, a graduate of the UDA's Social Communication career, began by telling how her first sports coverage was, when she was still in the classrooms of the School of Communication, and then went deeper into what it means to be a woman in this profession:

"I asked myself what role I wanted to play in sports journalism, because you can be a vase journalist, an ornament in the program, but I wanted to be an active journalist, who really participates in the content of the broadcast."

For his part, Muñoz recalled his beginnings at age 11 in this discipline of journalism:

"Here is my first message, it is never too early and it is never too late to start sports journalism, there are many people who find this passion at 25 or 30 years old, 11 years may sound a bit exaggerated but it was my turn that luck to start soon. "

Finally, Pedro Reinoso explained that his passion began when he listened to the stories of soccer games.

"I started working in radio from my first year of career at the University of Cuenca, it has been expensive to get to where we have come and it is nice to share this trajectory with the students."

The event had more than 50 participants who asked questions after the first series of exhibitions.
