98 Microstories: launch of the book by Joaquín Moreno Aguilar

On March 7, the University of Azuay together with its Publishing House presented the book “98 microcuentos” by author Joaquín Moreno Aguilar, an event that is framed in the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives, mainly objective 4: Quality education.

The event was attended by authorities, teachers and students from our university community, friends and family of the author.

This book was born as an exercise in a creative writing workshop in which people, animals, circumstances, etc. are asked to present; of superlative characteristics, or very pretty or very ugly, or very fat or very skinny, or very good or very bad or very whatever, but in a novel way, that is, 97 imagination exercises.

The welcoming words were given by our rector, Francisco Salgado, who pointed out the importance of the work presented, highlighting the importance of the presence of culture and literature in everyday life.

The presentation of the book was led by Felipe Aguilar Aguilar, professor at the University of Cuenca.

The official launch of the book presented was carried out by Joaquín Moreno Aguilar, its author, who expressed his satisfaction with the work carried out and read some of the stories found in his work.
