50 cameras interconnected to ECU-911 will provide security to the internal and external community of the UDA central campus
On September 08, 2023, the Signature of the Delivery Record of the external video surveillance system of the University of Azuay to Zonal Coordination 6 of the ECU-911 Integrated Security Service was carried out. This strategic collaboration was carried out in the context of a solid inter-institutional cooperation and confidentiality agreement.
During this event, the University transferred responsibility for complementary monitoring of the video surveillance cameras that cover the streets surrounding the main campus of the University of Azuay. These roads include Calle Hernán Malo, Avenida 24 de Mayo and Calle de las Garzas; adding a total of fifty cameras, which will provide security to the community inside and outside the campus, under the supervision of Zone 6 of ECU 911.
This delivery symbolizes a joint effort to strengthen the security of our University Community and society in general, reaffirming the commitment of the University of Azuay to the security and well-being of all citizens.
